Please be careful to remember that everything is copyrighted automatically, unless it has been specifically placed in the public domain. The mere lack of a copyright notice on any document (or source program) is not sufficient to conclude that the document (or source program) is not in the public domain. Furthermore, the mere fact that a source program or document contains some copyright or license notice does not necessarily mean that the information there is correct. If you copy a document, it is up to you to determine that you are doing so without violating copyright law.
