Some other info: Version information (via gcc -v) says that it's "gcc version 3.4.4 (cygming special)". There are also some "3.4.5" directories present. Someone earlier in this thread stated that the 4.x CVS repository does not have the strict GPL encumbrance, so that remains an option. You just don't get everything nicely packaged up for you.
