I am not trying to make the point that OO is more professional than any other technique. IMO, OO has a rich set of principles that makes ME see it as a discipline besides being a technology. As a discipline that I practice, I find myself more determined to identify and correct OO errors and bad practices that others may let go for the reasons I mentioned above. I believe in OO and I want to promote it.
