The DDN INFO-Ada mailing list is bidirectionally gatewayed with the USENET
comp.lang.ada newsgroup.  Posting to a newsgroup gets to the mailing list,
and mailing to the mailing list gets posted to the newsgroup.  And yes, the
software is set up to prevent (hopefully) infinite looping.

Guidance on the use of the INFO-Ada mailing list (from DDN sites) follows,
from a message sent this spring by the director of the AJPO (edited to
reflect the change to ajpo.sei.cmu.edu).

$ INFO-Ada is sponsored by the AJPO to support the promotion and introduction
$ of Ada throughout the Department of Defense (DoD) and the industries
$ supporting DoD.  It's primary emphasis is on information exchange among the

$ that exchange of information, a bidirectional link between INFO-Ada and the
$ USENET newsgroup comp.lang.ada (formerly net.lang.ada) has been created.

$ The AJPO guidance on the use of INFO-Ada is to strive to keep it for fair
$ usage.  This means that no one should take advantage of it for commercial
$ marketing or promotion of any product, company, service, institution,
$ organization, etc.  The desire is to avoid any bias (express or implied) on
$ the part of the government with regard to endorsing or showing favoritism to
$ any particular entity.  Authoritative, informative, non-commercial messages
$ are considered acceptable.

$ INFO-Ada is normally automatically redistributed without any moderation or
$ censoring.  This is the preferred mode of operation.  This mode of operation
