AdaMentor 95 is a Web-based education/training course. AdaMentor 95 utilizes the Internet as a virtual classroom environment for a comprehensive, introductory level course on the recently revised Ada 95 programming language. Students are provided direct access to a validated Ada 95 compiler. AdaMentor 95 is available via the Internet at . AdaMentor 95 was developed by AdaSoft, Inc., under the Ada Technology Insertion Program-Partnerships (ATIP-P), a 1996 program of the Ada Joint Program Office (AJPO) which provides partial funding of industry-initiated products designed to accelerate the use of Ada 95. The author, along with Ivar Jacobson, has proposed a coherent approach entitled "Reuse-Driven Software Engineering Business" (RSEB). An RSEB is a software development organization that has been explicitly structured to employ systematic reuse as a key business strategy. The RESB develops architectural constructs for families of related applications built from reusable components and defines several incremental, iterative software reuse processes. The RESB also provides an organization model for the creation of the architecture and component systems by one or more teams, and their reuse by other teams. The RESB reinforces the importance of a well-planned object-oriented software-engineering process. SOURCE: Griss, Martin L.
