The method uses no preprocessor and produces a binding which allows the applications using it to be completely portable between Ada compilers. All hardware and database specifics for supporting communication between applications and the actual database used will be isolated. The method employed will use a nested generic structure to provide the application with semantic knowledge about tables and columns within the database as defined by the database administrator.
