2nd Call for papers 

Because our earlier call had (unintentionally) only limited circulation
we are re-issuing it with later closing dates:
for extended abstracts (3-6 pages):     21st November 1996
for full papers:                        31st December 1996

Authors are invited to submit papers on original research or reports on
relevant experience of software engineering techniques and tools.

Suggested topics include but are not limited to:
* object-oriented analysis, design and programming
* benefits and drawbacks of using formal methods
* managing software development
* experiences of introducing Ada 95
* programming languages for software engineering
* safety-critical software
* systems implemented in more than one programming language
* comparisons of software engineering techniques and tools
* the development of Ada bindings
* the use of Ada in applications
* teaching software engineering or programming 

Contributions may be submitted to either of the Co-Programme Chairs.
Authors should provide the following information: title of paper, name
of author(s), author's affiliation, postal and electronic mail
addresses, telephone and fax numbers and a list of keywords ordered by
relevance. Submissions must be in English. Submitting abstracts by
electronic mail is preferred (plain ASCII); if submitting on paper,
please provide 5 copies. Submissions by fax are not accepted.

Proceedings will be published in the Springer-Verlag Lecture Notes in
Computer Science series.

Ada-Europe will sponsor awards for
* the best paper
* the best presentation 
each worth Ecu 500 (approx. #375 or $550)

ACM SIGAda are offering four conference-only registrations to SIGAda
members with a presence on the programme (contact Hal Hart

The conference will be held in London's Tower Hotel. Located in the
historic City of London, the conference venue is ideally located for
some of the capital's major tourist sites. The hotel overlooks the
River Thames and Tower Bridge. The Tower of London, home of the
Crown Jewels, is just across the street.
