In order to gather some preliminary information for a study I have prepared a very short survey form: http://divcom.otago.ac.nz:800/COM/INFOSCI/KEL/people/andrew/survey.htm which I would appreciate anyone who can spare a couple of minutes completing. There are only six questions, so I'm not looking for any detailed answers at this stage, just a fairly broad picture of the state of object-oriented development. Some people have mentioned that their firewalls do not allow access to the 800 port on my division's server, so I've included the survey in text as part of this message. The form can be mailed to me at agray@commerce.otago.ac.nz. Obviously, only one form of the survey should be completed by any one developer. I'm happy to mail the results to anyone interested and, if there is sufficient interest, to the group. Cheers, Andrew ================================================================= Object-Oriented Software Development Survey This is a small preliminary survey to determine the proportion of developers making use of certain object-oriented languages and methodologies, as well as their use of software metrics. Your participation in completing this form is very much appreciated. _________________________________________________________________ Your address (If you would like a copy of the summarised results) _________________________________________________________________ The country you are located in (for comparision purposes) _________________________________________________________________ What platforms do you develop software for?
