WAdaS is being held from July 22-25 at the McLean Hilton in McLean, Virginia, located one mile off the Washington, D.C. beltway. Mr. Taft, Chief Scientist, Intermetrics, Inc. and Chief Language Designer of Ada 95, will provide the technical keynote on Wednesday July 24 beginning at 8:30 a.m. Mr. Taft presentation is entitled Programming the Internet in Ada 95. The presentation will focus on using the features of Ada 95 in conjunction with the capabilities of Java. Ada and Java will also be the focus of a Wednesday morning session entitled "Ada, Java, and the WWW." Afternoon sessions includ e an d Day Three also features vendor exhibits and an evening reception hosted by Rational Software Corporation. Day four (July 25) will be highlighted by keynotes speakers Marie Lenzi, Editor Object Magazine, and RADM John Gauss of DISA.
