Making sure planes don't crash into each other, or some some such mission critical system, on a dedicated platform? or recording the rota for the cleaning of the airport toilets, on PC which will only be booted with the program occasionally? my guesses for which language are appropriate for what are the predictable ones. James. (Hmmn, in some airports I've been unfortunate to be in a mission critical toilet cleaning rota wouldn't have been a bad idea ;-)
