These topics include, but are not limited to: the performance, scalability, reliability, management and security issues surrounding: -- JAVA and content-oriented languages for the WWW -- CORBA and Network OLE in large-scale distributed applications. Attendence is limited and based on acceptance of a position paper. Potential workshop attendees are invited to submit a position paper of at most three (3) pages (ASCII) via electronic mail to David Cohn (dlc@cse.nd.edu) no later than May 1st, 1996. Acceptance notices to all participants will be issued by May 20th, 1996. Position papers should briefly describe experiences, interests, works in progress, and/or ongoing research and development.
