If you were a vendor of microwave herds, I bet you would have money to buy a license from AdaCore. You could even afford developing an Ada 2012 compiler from scratch. (:-)) It all about how many boards come in question and how complex the software has to be. One of our customers develops all software from scratch for each new device. When we asked them, would not it be better to have a portable layer for the stuff, they answered that by the numbers they have in production, they need not to care about software costs... -- Regards, Dmitry A.
