That line of code was not standard C++ (not that there even is a standard yet :-). It was a "syntax extension" that came with the Borland C++ Compiler Version 3.x as part of the ObjectWindows Framework. Interestingly when Borland released 4.0 they removed that "syntax extension." I would be interested to know if any Ada vendors have released Ada compilers with vendor-specific syntax modifications. Ray Toal
