I've found something strange; there is a function called Program_Name which (according to comments) should do what I want, but doesn't. Its comments say it should put the same prefix/suffix onto the first string that remain when the calling program has its base-name (eg gnat, gnatmake) removed. Doesn't seem to work on a VERY rudimentary test, but I need to identify that properly. > But I think your best bet is simply to use the GNAT port by John > Marino[2]. That gnat-aux may help a lot, thanks! M -- Mark "No Nickname" Murray Notable nebbish, extreme generalist.
