It's somewhat ironic given this discussion that we've recently seen the GNATColl error which caused incorrect string values to be inserted into the database! It should serve as a caution to those who seamlessly transition from "Ada is immune to entire classes of errors prevalent in C++" to "Ada is immune to errors". (And yes, I know that when baldly presented this way, everyone will deny that they have ever said or thought the latter, but it is the attitude that often comes through.)
