I understood what you said Emmanuel, but what I wanted to know was whether the latest _official_ GNATcoll package, that can be downloaded from http://libre.adacore.com/libre/download2# would have this minor annoyance fixed, or perhaps at least have the solution added to the README file. As it stands now, you go download it, compile it, and watch it fail at connecting to your PostgreSQL database, for no apparent reason. Hardly an optimal situation for what is a publically available official version of a software. The development version is not for the faint of heart.
