AFAIK it will be accepted that Ada will be broken after the tree-ssa merge. The merge will take place on the main trunk that will eventually lead to gcc-3.5. If an upcoming version of gcc will not have Ada, it will be gcc-3.5. I regularily build gcc from the 3.3 and 3.4 branches on Linux and Windows (about once per week) and don't have major problems.
