I know there is Ada in the 7E7 and elsewhere for that matter. Ada is still in use, but companies are going down other routes. If we want Ada to be used widely in the future, we have to go out there and get it into projects ourselves. The best (and probably *only*) way that is going to happen is because Ada believers are sufficiently convinced of its superior profitability to be willing to start companies that make something that utilizes Ada. It ain't gonna happen if we wait for the C++ advocates to finally see the sweet light of reason.
