In the long run, we'll be making truckloads of money, right? The only way that Ada is going to get into more projects is if *we* put it there because *we* are the ones making the decisions, doing the work and accepting the responsibility for the end result. If *we* go off and start building avionics computers or some other sort of computer systems and *we* use Ada to do that and *we* demonstrate better productivity & quality and increased profitability as a result, the rest of the crowd will eventually follow. In the mean time, *we* blow *their* doors off and get filthy, stinking, Bill Gates, rich because *we* built the better mouse trap, right? As for me? I'm pushing Ada into projects where I can and trying to take my organization in that direction. Ultimately, some of us have to take on ventures that produce an end product that uses Ada, or it falls apart. (Anyone with an interesting venture out there?) Ada isn't *ever* going to succeed if we just sit around and wait for Boeing or LockMart to decide to put it into their next major aircraft. Calling their management boneheaded won't make one single project turn into an Ada project either.
