I am currently negotiating to get access to the source code for a program called "CC" (no, it isn't a C compiler) to use in an SE project. It's a real existing program with a real user base and a real performance problem that I hope we may be able to do something about. I expect that I and my students will learn a lot from working with it, even though it is moderately small. I am *really* looking forward to having real code for my students to work with. I know my other colleagues at RMIT feel the same way and are also looking for real projects in their respective areas. -- "The complex-type shall be a simple-type."
