I'm particularly interested in any discussion of the need to integrate some functional decomposition and structured programming into an object oriented apporach where it is appropriate. As Roger Sessions states in Class Construction in C and C++ : "These two views of the universe are by no means irreconcilable. The data manipulation operations of the object-oriented program can, and should be developed using structured programming techniques." Any ideas or references on this subtopic would also be welcomed.
