John's address is MCCORMJW@splava.cc.plattsburgh.edu. A TRI-Ada '91 paper on this project at Plattsburgh won the Best Paper award at that conference. What the PC Week story left out is that the real-time system they build in that course controls an HO train setup. It's a really nice piece of work.
