I think this may have been covered in cla a few times (Dec 2000?)
but you could do something like:

package Program is

   procedure Kill;

end Program;

with Ada.Task_Identification; use Ada.Task_Identification;
package body Program is
   Environment_Task : Task_ID := Current_Task;

   procedure Kill is
   begin
      Abort_Task (T => Environment_Task);
   end Kill;
end Program;

then call "Program.Kill" from pretty much anywhere else in
your program.
