"Joe Armstrong talked about the Erlang at the Lightweight Languages Workshop 2002 (LL2).At the end of his talk he mentions a few products using Erlang, one of them an Ericsson ATM switch (AXD301). It's used by British Telecom and has a fault tolerance of 99.9999999% (9 nines!). That's 31 ms a year.
