I don't know who gets caught holding the bag full of >V.n boxed sets when V.n+1 comes out, but right now ACT does not have >to deal with retailer animosity. I'm not suggesting that they ship to retailers - all they have to do is sell it on the net. If I ask sales@gnat.com if they can sell me a boxed copy of their product (similar to the one I saw on a colleagues desk), I don't really expect to be told "no, go away, you can only get that with a support contract for 10 seats" or whatever. All I'm suggesting is that ACT say "Yes, that will be $100.00 + shipping - you are aware that you do not get telephone support etc etc?" and I say yes, that's fine, here is my credit card number! Anyway, for what it's worth, I sent a message to sales@gnat.com earlier in the week asking about Windows CE (as suggested by Robert Dewar) and have heard absolutely nothing - so that's not very impressive is it?
