However I read a book that I found very usefull. Its named "Embedded programming in Ada" by Theodore F. Elbert, ISBN 0-442-22350-1. It gives a very step by step description of the language. Also there is a reference to the LRM ANSI/MIL STD-1815A-1983. and many interesting sources. The book dates from 1986 but i think still useable. regards, Noam Kloos.
