One thing I've never quite understood is the argument of ambiguity. Ada allows other things that have a potential of ambiguity. The solution there is that when something _actually_ has two meanings (as opposed to _potentially_) then you get neither. That is the approach perl takes to multiple inheritance. At least I think so--I haven't finished studying it.
