I disagree that its harder to read - in that I seldom put a "use" in the context clause anyway. (I put them in whatever subprogram declrative region really needs the package, or I use the dotted notation.) But there are those who seem to want to piss and moan about how much clutter they have to type and look at in front of a library unit. I'll live with that in exchange for having more library units from which to choose. Don't go "fixing" compilers if the effort could be spent in building more standard libraries.
