Its so little benefit at the expense of needlessly disrupting the language and forcing compiler changes on people. There isn't hardly any food value here - and I seriously doubt it would do anything at all to make Ada more acceptable to the people who don't already use it. Or we could do it the Cobol way: ADD X TO Y.
