Even "We're looking into it..." is a better answer than nothing at all. Are these companies represented in the ARG? If so, that's a good reason to take the issue to the ARG and ask them to respond. (You've got all the suspects in one place - ask them if they want a standard library and would be willing to distribute one if it were to be brought about somehow...) You need some feedback that says these guys are on board or whatever gets done is going to be at best Just Another Ada Library hanging around somewhere on the internet. (And I do mean *AT BEST* because it has been tried before and mostly augered in with little to no net results to show for it.)
