(Forgive us our paranoia, for we know what we do! ;-) But be that as it may, the Ada Letters editors want .DOC or .PDF files and, since my article included nothing more than simple text with simple formatting and just a couple of common fonts, .DOC is not really a problem. Besides, OpenOffice will save to .DOC format.
