But that's why I was asking the question about Bounded_String. You apparently have made use of it in real-world apps to a non-trivial extent. If some significant amount of code out there utilizes it (besides yours), then its clearly worth continuing to support with extensions in Ada0x. (By which I mean if we were to expand the role of Unbounded_String WRT Text_IO, etc., there should be similar expansion for Bounded_String.) You don't know the answers to these sorts of questions by sitting in an ivory tower and theorizing about how wonderful a given feature is.
