Why does one put his money in a bank instead of stuffing it in a matress at home? Why does one buy into a pension fund rather than stick the money in a cookie jar at home? There are different levels of risk tolerance and different timeframes in which investors expect to reap their profits, but the motives are all basically the same: Make Money. And its important to note, in the long-term, I'll be dead. So if you want me to invest in your company, you need a plan to show me some profits before that eventuality takes place. :-) MDC olehjalmar kristensen - Sun Microsystems - Trondheim Norway wrote: > > But many investors are *NOT* interested in the long-term survival of > the company..... -- ====================================================================== Marin David Condic I work for: http://www.belcan.com/ My project is: http://www.jsf.mil/ Send Replies To: m c o n d i c @ a c m . o r g "All reformers, however strict their social conscience, live in houses just as big as they can pay for." --Logan Pearsall Smith ======================================================================
