I understand your point that for some companies there are periods where "time stands still." Others in the same business may have to constantly evolve their product line to satisfy a changing customer base. For example one pizzeria near here still makes the best pizzias in town. (IMHO) But three-quarters of their business or more is in grinders, cheese steaks, etc. And almost all of their lunchtime pizza business is now pizza by the slice. They will continue to move with the times, even if the demand for pizza disappears entirely. -- Robert I.
