But I like it anyway. There are some things for which I like in C++. My concern is its use in safety-critical software, a domain for which I believe it is not well-suited. Even Ada includes features that are of questionable value in safety-critical software. That is one reason for the existence of SPARK. I think it would be much more difficult to write a version of SPARK for C++ than for Ada. In the process, one would lose too much of what is useful in C++. Richard Riehle
