Exactly. In the real world, things have bounds that don't generate exceptions - they just create a limit beyond which one cannot go. In control logic, we *live* to rate and range limit things. :-) Examples of usage shouldn't be at all hard to imagine - anywhere in the world where there are walls that say "this far, but no farther" and you have a potential usage for a saturated number.
