I think that one might argue that this is compiler dependent. I think I have read that GtkAda 2 should include routines for this, but you could try to implement it yourself. If I should do it, I would look into how I can write a "binary" stream of octets to a file, and then write routines that map String and Wide_String to one or more octets according to the UTF-8 specification.
