An Ada statement is always terminated by a semicolon (';'). if a line is not a comment line or a blank line, and it does not end in a semicolon, then the statement on that line must be continued on the next. If you look at the examples at www.adapower.com, you will find plenty of examples of Ada statements that take more than one line.
