If the rights have reverted with your book going out of print then you could always try what the Operational Research department at Lancaster did (and may still do) -- they had the complete course notes written up for sale in unbound form and the students were expected to buy them. I don't suppose they turned a great deal of profit on the deal after deducting reproduction costs, but it did mean there was a 'textbook' available that precisely fitted the course content, and no danger of it going out of print. -- David Gillon
