I just had lunch with a guy that was working on some embedded system (he didn't specify) at Marshall Space Flight Center. He said that most programming at NASA in Ada is for embedded systems, which is where Ada really excels. Of course he also says that unless it's an embedded system, the tendency is not to use Ada. At any rate, I'm learning Ada now because it's free (Gnat). Can't beat that!
