An example is the need for dynamic arrays. To achieve that Ada compatibility goal and the possibility to have different deal on some feature, the solution could be to have a standard pre-processor. Some of the facilities could be provided as Ada package, as Ehud said, and available for Ada code. Those facilities could be integrated in the script language syntax to ease writing, and the pre-processor could generate standard Ada code with call to those packages.
