I have myself involved in quite a lot of work in reengineering/translation of old C programs to C++. Send e-mail to tcr@cis.ufl.edu asking for the tech report(s) on ObjectFinder. The work is by Dr Norman Wilde et al. I remember some work on this area at Minnesota, Minneapolis. I'm sorry I don't have the full references. The articles appeared in one of the C++ reports (maybe in 1992). Hope this helps. Cheers. -- Shriram Venkatraman - I dream of the day when conservatives learn - (shriramv@ - the difference between sin and crime and liberals - cs.montana.edu) - learn the difference between virtue and requirement - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
