I can only guess that your binaries, example01, etc. are not where "make tests" is expecting to find them. Try typing cd ada_lapack; ls ex*; ls t* If you don't see the binaries then that would explain the errors you saw (the output you saw was from a diff command, it wasn't from your binaries). You may have to hunt around for them (and I don't know why they would be anywhere other than in ada_lapack). Cheers, Leo
