I would like to thank you for your help.
As I didn't know anything about exiisting packages,
I was trying to use the C language to make the serial port
work. I think I will probably success that way but I am going to
look at your solution because it could be interesting.

In fact, what I wanted to do is to communicate with electronic
cards with the serial port. I will use it with friends in my
engeneer school in Lille to build a
robot for a well-known competition in France. And we are using
a notebook with linux inside.
