It appears to be a long-range R&D effort years away from actually being included in operational weapons systems acquisition. I don't know what their Ada plans are, but expect that they are not representative of Navy software development as a whole. I do know that for many Navy applications, especially in the precision guided munitions arena, there is considerable use of Ada. Jeff Schweiger "E.
