I think leaving good comments at critical points in the code is more helpful than trying to predict the next programmers preferences. I wonder if anyone here REALLY finds the short version difficult, or if they are trying to help the mythical 'other guy' who can't understand it, or perhaps just want a discussion of style. Charlie V.
