I'd recommend this practice, regardless of the language you're doing it
in. Of course, with a high-level language,

Start the Ethernet Process Task

becomes

ETHERNET(START);

and even a not-so-high-level language can have

Ethernet->Start();

and you can just chop-and-change the comment. Well-written Ada, for
example, is almost character-for-character identical with a good PDL.
In fact, there's an IEEE standard on the use of Ada _AS_  a PDL.
