Once again: Call Meridian Software Systems at 1-800-221-2522. They have a respectable Ada system for both PC and Mac. The Mac one is an MPW tool; they bundle MPW with the system. Student price for both is $149.00; non-student price (I think) is $299. for PC; not sure about the Mac but $399. may be right. Gem Technologies (1-800-232-3989) sells a PC system for $149.00 to all. I like the Meridian one better, mostly because I like its tasking implementation better, but both compilers are validated and quite mature. The development shells ("Turbo-like") are both new, developed recently, but the compilers and linkers inside have been around - in both cases - for years. The GemTech compiler/linker is really Janus/Ada in a new wrapper. Their graphics library is a good bit faster than Meridian's.
