Please clarify that last question as "to what standard does it comply?". That last question is confusing. Accepted terminology implies Ada means Ada 95 and Ada 83 is listed explicitly. Do you mean the Ada 83 standard vs the Ada 95 standard? If so, that is a valid point, but irrelevent to the previous question which concerned GNAT on Linux which is an Ada 95 compiler. Although it does have a Ada 83 compatibility switch, that does not make it an Ada 83 compiler. Do you mean which Ada 95 standard? There is only one Ada 95 standard. It does have some annexes which are optional and "extend" the standard into specific application domains. Again, GNAT supports all the annexes and Robert Dewar delights in pointing this out frequently (and well deservedly so). -- Samuel T.
