[... dripping with sarcasm ...] Richard, you really need to expand on your comment above. It appears as though you are saying that Sun/JavaSoft is not trying to create a portable Java. I sure that's not what you really meant to say. It also appears that you are saying that Microsoft _is_ trying to create a truely cross-platform Java environment. Maybe you should try again.
